Each bin can be weekly or fortnightly, and you choose which week each fortnightly bin starts. If your council runs something else (three-weekly, or a changed day after a public holiday) tell us and we will add it.
Check Settings, Notifications, Bin Week is allowed. The reminder is scheduled on the phone for the evening before collection at the time you set.
Hold the phone flat and away from metal, then move it in a figure eight to calibrate. The compass needs a real iPhone; it does not work in the simulator or on devices without a magnetometer.
The list comes from the ACMA register and refreshes weekly. Send us the site and we will check it against the register.
